The QSI 640 model camera employs a 4.2 megapixel Kodak interline transfer CCD image sensor with microlens technology. The high quantum efficiency, wide dynamic range and low noise performance make the QSI 640 ideally suited to a broad range of demanding imaging applications.

The QSI 640wsg-8 has a electronic shutter, 8 positions internal filter wheel and a guiding port.

The QSI 640wsg-8 includes also the following:

4.2mp Kodak KAI-04022 sensor
USB 2.0 High-Speed, 16-bit output
Dual read rates of 800kHz and 8MHz
Air cooling to 45C below ambient
Mechanical shutter for unattended calibration frames
