LUNT SOLAR SYSTEMS 50mm H-ALPHA ETALONS

50mm H-ALPHA ETALON FILTER + B1800 2"

H-alpha Single Pass Front Mount Etalon System for telescopes with 2'' eyepiece-holder up to 1620mm focal lengrh.

Introducing the LS50 Hydrogen-alpha system. System includes the B1800 blocking filter which provides full disk images on telescopes up to 1620mm focal length. Larger blocking filters suitable for longer focal length telescopes are also available options.

Because the LS50 has an estimated bandpass of <0.75 Angstroms it is capable to providing high contrast views of both surface and edge detail. Adding an additional etalon system will reduce the bandpass to ~<0.55 (dependant upon scope) allowing for higher resolution viewing and/or imaging.

18mm Blocking Filter
H-Alpha 18mm blocking filter, to be used with Etalon systems. The Blocking Filter houses additional filters which are required for the safety and performance of the solar package.
