The CS model 2" format focusers features 7 different drawtube travel options and comes with an 2" to 1 1/4" adapter. They feature a 3 thumbscrew brass compression ring style clamping systems for heavy load applications. The focuser's come with many different knob or motor options. Our dual rate version uses a 1.5" Tri-knob configuration with a 8 to 1 reduction unit for great lifting capacity while retaining extremely smooth focus ability. We added a new shaft lock system to the left knob allowing the focusers position to be locked using a micro compression ring clamp on the left knob. This type of lock does not push against the draw tube like other lock systems do. There is no image shift with this new style of shaft lock system. Many motor options are available as well. A DC motor version with hand controller for visual use or our popular "High Res stepper motor option" for extreme imaging needs requiring very fine repeatability and temp compensation using any ASCOM software. Our new 2-Speed stepper motor controller has a DRO display allowing great precision for both Manual and PC automated operation. As of this time we make 16 flange sizes allowing the focuser to fit all Meade SCTs, Celestron SCTs, Vixen VMC260, TAK Mewlon, Questar, and Astrotech RC scopes. We make a special version for imagers that gives our CS model focuser the unique ability to hold a focal reducer inside the focuser.
