The CFL large 2.5" ID draw tube features 4.5" of travel and comes with both an 2.5" to 2" adapter and a 2.5" to 1 1/4" adapter. The drawtubes have a 3 thumbscrew brass compression ring style clamping systems for heavy load applications. The focuser comes standard with our large 1.5" Tri-knob dual rate 8 to 1 reduction unit for great lifting capacity while retaining extremely smooth focuser ability. We added a new shaft lock system to the left knob allowing the focusers position to be locked using a micro compression ring clamp on the left knob. This type of lock does not push against the draw tube like other lock systems do. There is no image shift with this style of shaft lock system. The focuser also comes with 4 different motor options. A DC motor version with Rigel hand controller for visual use, or our popular "High Res stepper motor option" with the choice of 2 different controllers for extreme imaging needs requiring very fine repeatability and temp compensation using any ASCOM software. We offer different drawtubes for the CFL model focuser besides our regular 4.5" travel model, a special shorty 3" travel draw tube, plus a special Vixen field flattener drawtube option that enables the existing Vixen field flattener to be installed inside the drawtube. Many flange sizes are available, allowing the focuser to fit Meade APOs, TAK FS102and TSA 102, TAK FS128, TAK FS152, WO110 Megrez /ZS, WO110 FTL, WO110 FLT-TMB, WO132 FLT, New ED127s, Meade AR5, Meade AR6, Astro Physics 6", Orion 110 ED, AT 111, TV NP101/ 127, Coronado 90, and both Vixen 3-bolt and threaded refractor flange sizes. We also machine custom flanges by request for any size refractor up to 8". The 2 piece flange system is rotatabel for camera angle, and provides collimatable flexibility for achieving perfect mechanical centerline collimation using our 3 point push /pull mounting configuration.
