SKYQUEST XX-14 INTELLISCOPE TRUSS-TUBE
With its huge 14" aperture, the Orion XX-14 Intelliscope will allow you to see the heavens like never before ! It collects 36% more light than a 12" mirror, and an amazing 96% more than a 10". This'll allow observation of much fainter objects and resolving subtler details.
Its enhanced reflectivity (94%) mirror will allow brighter images.
Surprisingly portable, the tube AND the base disassemble without tools to allow transportation in a regular-sized car. Furthermore, all mounting and tube hardware are captive to prevent loss of pieces during transportation.
Also includes Intelliscope object location technology, which allows to find thousands of objects with push-button ease.
Its eight-pole truss design provides more stability than other three-poles and six-poles designs.
The Dobson base's azimtuth movement is optimized by Ebony Star on the virgin Teflon bearing surfaces.
Dual-speed (11:1) 2" Crayford focuser for precise focusing on the most elusive objects.
